In the third quarter of 2023, Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil producer, reported a net income of $32.58 billion, down 23% year-over-year due to lower oil prices but still reflecting robust profitability. The company produced approximately 11 million barrels of oil per day, maintaining its position as OPEC’s top producer. Capital expenditures reached $9.1 billion, focused on expanding gas production and downstream refining, with $45 billion allocated for 2024 capex to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 diversification goals. Aramco’s $1.8 trillion market cap and 6% dividend yield make it a cornerstone of global energy investments, though limited public float restricts retail access.
